Specialists from The Corvallis Clinic OB/GYN and Pediatrics departments are offering new classes for expecting parents.

Pediatricians and lactation specialist Holly Risch, RN, will present Healthy Baby talks covering:

• Normal newborn appearance
• Crying, sleeping and bathing
• Development
• Medical care
• Breastfeeding
• Nutrition

Healthy Baby classes are offered every other month, starting Wednesday, April 9, with Dr. Edward Schmitt. Subsequent talks are scheduled June 11 with Dr. James Nusrala; Sept. 10 with Dr. Patrick Allender; Oct. 8, with Dr. Eunju Metzler; and Dec. 3, with Dr. Schmitt.

Obstetricians will continue with quarterly Baby Bundle prenatal talks covering:

• Signs of labor
• Birthing options
• Pain management options
• When to call your doctor
• Partner help during labor
• Choosing your baby’s doctor.

Baby Bundle classes with obstetricians will be May 14, with Dr. Amy Card; Aug. 13, with Dr. Michelle Curtis; and Nov. 12, with Dr. Amey Lee.
