Imaging
The Corvallis Clinic radiologists are considered among the best in the Northwest. When your doctor requests an x-ray or other imaging test, your test usually can be done in The Clinic's Radiology Department. It is fully equipped with state-of-the art PECT/CT, CT, ultrasound, MRI and bone density units. You can be assured that your x-ray or imaging test will be of superior quality for accurate interpretation by your radiologist and doctor. Corvallis Radiology provides supervision and interpretation of medical imaging. Mammography services are provided by Corvallis Mammography, located at the rear of the Aumann Building.
Many radiology tests can be given at the time of a patient's doctor visits. Others, such as MRI, CT, PET and Nuclear usually can be scheduled within a week of seeing your doctor. Most routine test results are available within a few hours. Other more complex tests, can take a couple of days to interpret. Because a radiologist and your physician must interpret x-ray and imaging results, we cannot give test results to patients by telephone. Our patients must see their physician to receive this information.
Our department is staffed by registered technologist with many years of experience. Ron McCrae serves as Manager. The Radiology Department is located in the Asbury Building.
