The Corvallis Clinic Research Department began in 2001 to provide support for Phase II, III, and IV trials. Research is an important component to our organization and to our patients as it is our desire to provide cutting-edge treatments to patients in the mid-Willamette Valley.

      Research Staff
      More than 30 physicians at The Corvallis Clinic have expressed interest in performing clinical research. All principal investigators and sub-investigators are required to have training in good clinical practices and regulatory issues that are pertinent to clinical research. The administrative staff are solely dedicated to clinical research and are able to support the physician investigators to ensure adherence to protocols and data integrity.

      The medical director of The Corvallis Clinic Research Department is Alan R. Ertle, M.D., M.P.H. The lead research coordinator is Pat Eshleman, R.N., B.S.N.

      Facility
      The Corvallis Clinic has one main clinic site (two buildings) and two satellite clinics in Albany and Philomath, Oregon.
      Our diagnostic services include:

      • Fully accredited reference laboratory
      • Full imaging services (X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, MRI, CT, bone densitometry, echocardiography, PET, nuclear imaging, and EBT).
      • Cardiopulmonary testing (spirometry, treadmill, Holter monitoring)
      • Immediate Care Center open seven days per week.
