Patient Experience Matters: Be Part of the Change!
Creating a patient- and family-centered culture at TCC requires a collaborative partnership among patients, families, leadership, and staff. Our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a huge part of this at TCC. Volunteer patients and families collaborate with employees (clinical, administrative, and support) to provide guidance on improving the patient and family experience.
The group meets at 3 pm on the third Thursday of every month. The meetings focus on getting patient feedback so we can improve our services and do a better job caring for patients. This helps our organization:
- Establish patient and family-centered care priorities
- Identify ways to best support our patients and families
- Strengthen communication and collaboration between our health care providers, patients, and families
- Be a community advocate in educating others on patient and family-centered care principles
