Jacqueline Dillon is a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse with deep roots in Oregon. Born in Springfield and raised across the northwest of Oregon, Jacqueline’s connection to her home state is steadfast despite her love for travel. After graduating from high school in Philomath, she embarked on a journey that would lead her to a fulfilling career in healthcare.
Influenced by her mother, a surgical nurse, Jacqueline initially doubted her ability to handle the demands of the nursing profession. However, a high-risk pregnancy that required a month-long hospital stay revealed her true calling. During this challenging time, she realized that nursing was where she belonged. Though Jacqueline initially aspired to become an OB nurse, she found her passion in critical care, where she worked for 15 years. Jacqueline then served as a Health Director at an assisted living facility for three years before joining the Philomath Family Medicine team.
Jacqueline states, “As healthcare has been changing from acute care to chronic care, I am particularly interested in prevention and chronic care management, keeping people out of the hospital and at their optimal level of health.” Her approach to patient care is holistic, considering the entire person rather than just their medical conditions. She believes that each individual faces unique challenges and deserves personalized care. Jacqueline’s patients can expect her to be a steadfast advocate dedicated to their well-being.
Jacqueline enjoys spending quality time with her daughter outside of her professional life, reading, quilting, and traveling. Her cats, however, prefer her to stay home.
