Food: On Weekdays, volunteers distribute a 3-5 day supply of nutritionally balanced groceries partnered with USDA commodities to households in the greater Albany school district. Households can receive a food box once every 30-day period. Call the office to make an appointment for the same day. Residency will be confirmed with mail that shows names and addresses.
Snacks for Packs: A weekend food program for eligible students in a GAPS school experiencing food insecurity. Contact your school to sign up.

Newport Food Pantry
Food pantry for all and “Operation Snackpacks” for children. Operation Snackpacks discretely provides “chronically hungry” children with food to take home over the weekends and holidays. The backpacks are stocked with nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food and inconspicuously distributed to children on the last day of school before the weekend or holiday.
