Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 8, Dr. Andrew Rice initially wanted to be an endocrinologist. But that changed during a neurology stint while a resident. “My wife said it was the happiest she had seen me while in residency. I was excited to get to work and to learn about new patients. That’s when I decided to switch to neurology.”
Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and loves to cook for family and friends.
